Valentine's Tree & Decor

I am working on putting together some fun Valentine’s Day decor and thought I would play around with a Valentine’s Day tree. I pulled this little white faux Christmas tree from our decor bin and with some adorable heart string lights from Dollar Tree. While the lights are super cute, it takes 4 strands to cover the whole table top tree and two AA batteries each strand, which was admittedly more than I expected. Using a little floral wire might help secure the battery packs to the tree branches may help to optimize the aesthetic. When lit, with low light, the tree now glows pink and is a big hit in our household… maybe not as big of hit as the cherry gummy candy though…

The light box is from Heidi Swapp and the Holiday Icon pack which includes the Valentine’s Day images.

The heart banner is actually one I purchased last year from PB Kids, but have turned around as the front side says Be Mine.
