Memorial Day Picnic
While our Memorial Day BBQ might be scaled back a little this year, we still wanted to make it feel special and honor the important day with patriotic decor for our families. Cindy & I teamed up to create a fun and easy tables cape with elements that you can create at home.
Some of our favorite finds came from Target Dollar Spot, like the stars and stripes star banner and patriotic ramekin cups we used as candy dishes. The Red, White and Blue Star Bunting table runner is from Amazon and similar to this Patriotic Table Runner. Cindy created the paper fireworks using paper straws and rolling red white and blue, cut cardstock to create firework like tassel.
The Stars and Stripes Paper Party Fan by Mind’s Eye set can be purchased on Amazon. The paper fans look small due to the perspective in the photo, but they are a great decor piece that could be used over and over again. We look forward to incorporating them into our 4th of July decoration and hung with a few other banners.
The framed Memorial Day Printables were made with designs from the Silhouette Design Store, Megan Hardy Design # 267407 and #294318. With limited time, thanks for homeschooling 3 kids during quarantine, I ended up just printing them and placing them in frames, but they would be adorable designs for vinyl transfer or cut paper as well.
We paired these fun new pieces with some red white and blue decor pieces we already had, like the blue gingham tablecloth, melamine plates, and embellished milk glasses to achieve a table fit for a Memorial Day BBQ.
