Colorful Reindeer Celebration
Over the past few years there has been a trend picking up speed of decorating for the holidays in pastels and other non-traditional colors and we are definitely here for it. We still enjoy the classic green and red decor, its comforting and traditional but also love how we can use bright colors to give the season a little extra flare, and in 2020, we could all use a little extra flare.
Our Festive Reindeer Celebration is perfect for whatever occasion you may be celebrating in December, a birthday party, Secret Santa gift exchange, hot cocoa party with the kids, etc.
A fun way to make a big impression is in the place settings. We love to mix and match designs to add some dimension. We found the festive plates and cups at Daydream Society, a wonderful company that collaborates with independent artists to create the designs, which we love! As for the Reindeer Christmas crackers, napkins and gold Reindeer plate used for decor on the backdrop were purchased from Meri Meri, our favorite spot for the most adorable party supplies. The cutlery is reusable and found at Sophistiplate. We have linked all of the supplies used below to help you find everything needed to create this set up easily.
The table was garnished with pink, blue, gold and rose colored balloons. The balloons are not tied here, just playfully placed to give a fun and full effect. Balloons are a great way to add dimension and color without spending a lot of money on your tablescape. You could tie the balloons and make a garland or place them in any fun way that looks good to you! We like to use Qualatex brand of balloons when we are able. Their product is high quality and biodegradeable.
Bottle brush trees are all the rage and we totally get it! They are inexpensive and add so much texture to any holiday decorating. For this tablescape set up we added the ombre bottle brushes to the cupcake stand to add some dimension and height to the scene. We love how it turned out! The simplicity of a few well placed trees makes a big impact!
White holly berries, a sequin table runner and candy cane paper cuts perfectly finish off the look for a beautiful and fun table set up.

In setting the scene for the party, we have a festival of trees playfully placed on the mantle above the bright and colorful stockings tying in the theme in multiple areas in the party space for guests to enjoy.

The fringe backdrop is reusable and made from plastic tablecloths. Although they could be DIY’d, we went right to an expert and purchased this one from Glamfete. This is our second fringe backdrop purchase from her shop and love how beautiful and well made they are!
