Outdoorsy Father's Day
As Father’s Day approaches, we are planning to celebrate our DAD with a fun outdoorsy theme! We will have a BBQ that includes some of his favorite foods and a special dessert planned by the kids. If weather allows, we will plan a fun outdoor activity for the day and do everything we can to spoil Dad.

Inspired by these adorable felt toys I recently found at the Target dollar spot for $3 a set. One was the little campfire and S’more fixings and the other is the fishing pole and fish (not pictured is a cute blue basket). I pulled in some flannel that I had purchased for another project, a great LED camp lantern that I found at Michaels and set it all up around my grey felt letter board. I found a little greenery in my back yard to pull the look together.
Shortly after I started planning our Father’s Day theme, one of our favorite party sites, Meri Meri shared this adorable Father’s Day card with the camping themes as part of their Mini Makes series. It was simple to make, just print and cut out this fun FREE card! Everything on their site is so stinkin’ cute and high quality! You can’t have a camping theme without S’mores, right? My kiddos sure don’t think so! Since they are a favorite of my husbands, we will include making S’mores in our Father’s Day plans. If you do, these adorable S’mores tags are perfect for the occasion!
