Death By Disco Halloween

See this content in the original post

This year we decided to take a fun spin on Halloween and do a disco theme or “Death By Disco”. Mixing two fun genres together was easier than expected. We love how it turned out and hope you do too! This would be the perfect set up for a unique Halloween Birthday party or girls night in (with cocktails).

Cupcakes were purchased from our local grocery baker without any decoration, only frosted. We added the hot pink sprinkles and Meri Meri cupcake toppers. The adorable cupcake stand was an awesome find from Michaels.

Spooky Disco Cake Toppers

For the cake we purchased a blank, white frosted cake from our local bakery and then decorated it ourselves with sprinkles and a cluster of disco balls. We painted a white 4” skeleton teal with spray paint, putting his feet in plastic before placing on the cake.

The black hologram jack-o-lantern is is DIY that is about as easy as they come. It is a faux plastic pumpkin with hand cut jack-o-lantern face cut using Cricut hologram vinyl. If you have an electronic cutting machine such as a Silhouette Cameo or Cricut, then you could make it more elaborate, but in this case, we thought that the hand cut pieces look great!

We spray painted a white skeleton hot pink to add a pop of color. The balloon garland used were 11” pearl white and mint green and then we added in pops of color with 5” hot pink, pink and silver.
