Celebration of LOVE
Valentine’s Season is so adorable! I love the shades of red and pink with hearts everywhere! It is a glimpse of the lightness of spring, filled with delicious candy, and many sweet memories!
Since we are located in Washington, our ability to gather in groups is still prohibited, but that doesn’t mean we aren’t going to be celebrating LOVE with a family Valentine’s Day celebration this year.
Last year my son’s preschool Valentine party was cancelled on account of weather and so I had some heart napkins and cups I purchased at Target last year. This year, I found the adorable heart plates and paired it with the red gingham napkins I found in Target’s Summer collection. These items layered over a simple white tablecloth look so adorable celebration table for my kiddos.
The red felt “Be Mine” banner was a Pottery Barn Kids purchase a few years ago and I still love it! It is simple and looks really cute hung on my white mantle.
This adorable tiered metal tray was from the Target Dollar Spot for only $5. These are such great party planning accessories that help to elevate your party table.
I added vintage Valentines to each place setting for a little contrast and table personality.
Inspired by some of the fringe I am seeing out there, and a roll of red vinyl I had left over from the Hollywood Premier Movie Party a few years ago, I tried crafting my own fringe heart. It is still pretty rough in shape, but it was fun to create. Maybe next time I want to create this look, I will order a pre-made fringe backdrop from Glam Fete. Their collections are just adorable and they will also customize!
This glass mustard jar is filled with a stem of white flowers from Dollar Tree. I wrapped the vase with white label sticker paper and added the sparkle heart stickers from Dollar Tree. The red gingham ribbon, heart floral picks and felt hearts also came from Dollar Tree.
These precious vintage valentine printable were purchased from Past Patterns Palooza on Etsy. I printed them on white yardstick cut them out by hand. My mom had saved some of her childhood valentines and these reminded me of those.
The mantel is decorated with some Valentine’s Day decorations and framed printable art from Etsy. Use photo links below to buy your own. The framed photo of my kids is one of my very favorites of them from two years ago when we had mid-February snow and I had just purchased the PB Kids heart banner.
The “Bushel & a Peck” design is from Cottonwood Designs and the other two heart designs are part of a collection of 3 designs from BHPrintables, both available on Etsy. if you have frames, buying Etsy printable art is such an affordable way to decorate your home or event.
These adorable favor boxes were made with the Silhouette Design I made this Advent Calendar with, and sparkle stickers from Dollar Tree.
A candy charcuterie board is a fun way to serve and indulge on Valentine’s Day candy. When set up like this, it really has a WOW factor and looks so pretty with all coordinating colors!
Target plates, napkins & cups. I used the red striped paper straws but Target also carries red straws but white hearts that would also coordinate with these fun Valentine’s Day supplies.

Adorable Valentine Table
These Valentine’s Day Balloon Display make lovely expression of affection that you can easily make at home using, 5” balloons of pinks, white and red, a mylar “balloon” (this one was from Dollar Tree), paper greenery and this inexpensive freestanding balloon structure. Check out photos below for balloon supplies.
These ADORABLE cookies were gifted to my daughter from a friend and are from Candela’s Artisan Treats in the Seattle Area. The other treats I purchased from Trader Joe’s.
How cute do those heart balloons look as a photo backdrop?!? So easy just attach them to the wall in a grid with balloon glue!
For the balloon circle, the links below are for some of the products used. We used 5” Qulatex balloons bought in individual colors, but it may be most cost friendly to buy a kit, like the valentine arch options linked below, if you don’t have your own balloon stash. My balloons were Qualatex brand soft pink, rose, ruby, white and double stuffed white over ruby. balloons were tied into pairs and then two pairs were twisted into quads. Once all quads were made, I used fishing line to connect the different quads in a string. Once the balloon string was attached to the structure with fishing line, additional balloons were attached to fill in areas with glue dots (sometimes called balloon glue).
