Paper Crafted Thanksgiving Table Decor

It may have been down to the wire (blaming online learning with a Kindergartener), but I was able to create this Thanksgiving table scape perfect for our small, family Thanksgiving. With a little help from my Silhouette Cameo, home printer and some colored card stock, I put together this paper crafted centerpiece this afternoon for just a few dollars in designs and some card stock.

I purchased three graphics, the watercolor pumpkins & floral printable design, the Gather Wreath (kind of comical in 2020, I know) and the “Let our lives be filled with both thanks and giving”saying sign. Instead of cutting them out, I just chose adjust the size to 8 X 10, print and frame them in inexpensive, gray frames from Target.

I then used the floral picture to guide the selection of card stock to make paper flowers and greenery that coordinated. I found this adorable turkey centerpiece design for my Silhouette Cameo electronic cutting machine that was really simple to assemble and added it on a cake stand with the colorful paper flowers to create a centerpiece.

To finish off the table decor, I used the same floral and pumpkins graphic and the print and cut feature on my Silhouette cameo to make matching place cards. I set the table with my casual white dishes, acacia wood chargers and added coordinating muted pink, paper napkins with a simple leaf napkin ring that I cut from the same natural brown card stock that I used for the turkey.

Each paper flower take some time to create and fold to have dimension but all of the other items could be created very quickly. In just an hour or so, if you are still looking for something to make your Thanksgiving table feel festive.

I couldn’t resist, this pie banner really feels like the light-hearted touch we all need in 2020. We are thankful for so much more, but pie is pretty wonderful. I just printed and cut these pie pieces manually, but the designs came from the Silhouette Deign Store: Thanksgiving Pie Banner, Thanksgiving Banner, and the Give Thanks pie cut (no longer available but could be recreated by adding text to this similar pie).

Wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving!
