Easter Brunch Table

Easter Brunch Table

As a bunny person, I love decor for Easter, especially when I find items that I am able to use year round in my home. A few years ago I invested in some floral Pottery Barn Easter plates and have ended up using the set for several spring seasons and still love them. This year I fell in love with a very inexpensive collection at Target. I have three kids am always looking for items that wear well. I have been impressed with past melamine collections of Threshold or Opal House that Target has put out and knew these would be a perfect addition to my bunny collection. Something that will handle my kids better than other equally adorable porcelain offerings at other stores.

The plates come in two different sizes and a few different designs for each style. I opted to mix and match the floral and plaid dinner plates with the bunny and floral salad plates and love how they look paired with the floral paper napkins, bunny table runner and a single plaid placemat layer over the center. They even offer coordinating egg shaped plates if you’d prefer that look to the bunnies. Even better was that the collection came with coordinating pillows this year and since we have a new settee in our kitchen, I thought it would be fun to add the bunny pillow to some that I already had.

I used gold Spritz plastic silverware and paper napkins for the set up, but incorporated some lovely new Fortessa glassware I found at Nordstrom. It comes in several sizes/shapes, in lovely colors, but it is the bumpy texture on the glasses that won me over. In this table, I chose the the sage green and pinky lavender. Even though their shapes are different, it still works because of the mix and match casual vibe of the table.

Additional elements that I used to decorate my Easter Brunch table are some potted egg pieces that were part of the Threshold collection a few years ago, some adorable new white and gray pieces from the Dollar Spot/Spot’s Playground section: bunny salt & pepper shakers, bunny plate stand, bunny ear egg cups and a bunny trivet piece. Some of the other pieces are just ones I have collected through the years as a bunny lover. Personally, I like the white, simplistic designs and was so thrilled with all the offerings this Spring and have found some great options at Home Goods. This year the bunny napkin rings are new to my collection!

I also have these fun Threshold brand Happy Easter buntings and egg banner from previous seasons at Target. I have used these for a handful of Easter celebrations now and still love them!
